A Central Florida native, Joshua Gilbert joined Payne Law in 2021. Since Joshua began practicing law in 2017, his sole focus has been on representing homeowners, business owners, and associations in property damage disputes with their insurance companies. Joshua has successfully represented policyholders in nearly all aspects of property insurance disputes, including but not limited to jury trials.

At Payne Law, Joshua assists members of the community by helping them obtain payments owed. Growing up as the son of a small business founder, Joshua was taught a strong work ethic from a young age. His family has always been strongly involved in their local community and are founders of a non-profit community outreach program. Joshua attributes these two fundamental family values, strong work ethic and community outreach, for allowing him to become the person he is today.

Because of these values, while in law school, he participated in an internship at the City Attorney’s Office for the City of Kissimmee and a legal clinical program designed to serve the underprivileged. Utilizing this work ethic, education and experience to the advantage of his clients, he enjoys and is thoroughly committed to strongly advocating for their interests.
