Andrick Bernard Lewis is a trial-focused attorney at Payne Law, PLLC, representing policyholders in first-party property insurance disputes and individuals in personal-injury matters. A Titusville native who completed primary school in Miami, Mr. Lewis graduated from the University of Central Florida, where he served as Student Body Vice President, and earned his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was Vice President of the UF Law Trial Team.
Mr. Lewis began his career advocating for indigent clients as an Assistant Public Defender, trying multiple cases to verdict without a jury-trial loss. He then joined Florida’s largest insurance-defense firm, representing multiple carriers in first-party property and personal-injury claims, and later spent more than seven years at the nation’s largest personal-injury firm representing homeowners and injured people.
At Payne Law, Mr. Lewis continues to litigate personal-injury and property-insurance cases, with a primary focus on losses involving fires, pipe leaks, animal damage, hail, windstorms, and hurricanes. He leverages experience from both sides of the aisle, meticulous case preparation, and steady courtroom judgment to pursue the benefits clients are owed. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, running, team sports, and baking.
